Introduction • Chapter Images
Proteus is a watery chapter by the sea and of the sea; therefore it will be made with watercolor illustrations inspired by my current surroundings in Eastport, Maine. While some of my pieces may represent the vivid images in the chapter (the dead dog for example), many will be abstract interpretations of the rich colors of the snotgreen sea.
